All of the elements of the house style come together beautifully in the Mazis-Chambertin, in my opinion the most complete of these 2009s. It shows remarkable detail and nuance to go along with the kaleidoscopic expression of fruit. Sweet inner perfume is the fabric that weaves everything together on the supple, magnificent close. This is a towering wine from Dugat-Py. Anticipated maturity: 2029-2049.
