A combination of red berry flavors, herbal notes and oak spice makes this red interesting. Elegant, sustaining cherry, strawberry and floral flavors midpalate, while remaining long and satisfying on the spicy finish.
Sweet and easy – perhaps not the most refreshing but sincere. Lively and well done. This could be a GV but it’s a little evolved. (JR)
150th Anniversary label. Medium depth of maturing colour, the nose is a little bit soupy with a slightly burned edge. That’s the superficial side though. Sweet ripe fruit and oak on the palate, maybe too intrusive but does not dry the fruit.
