Yields were so low in this vintage, that Dancer opted to blend his top crus together, picking and pressing Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru La Romanée and 1er Cru Tête du Clos together, then doing the same with Meursault 1er Cru Perrières and Chevalier-Montrachet, before blending the must and fermenting to produce just under three barrels of wine. The resulting wine, released as the 2021 Vin de France OSKAR, is lovely, opening in the glass with notes of pear, toasted nuts, dried white flowers and confit orange, framed by a deft touch of reduction, followed by a full-bodied, ample and layered palate that's concentrated and racy.
