Dancer's 2019 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Morgeot is open and enveloping, delivering aromas of apricot, peaches, clear honey, toasted almonds and white flowers, followed by a textural, generous palate that's lively and expansive. As readers will remember, this parcel was planted in 2013 at a density of 20,000 vines per hectare.

Like the Chassagne villages, secondary fermentation aromas dominate the nose. More interesting are the succulent and surprisingly dense flavors for such young vines offer very good depth and acceptable persistence on the somewhat awkward finish This is tough to read today but is likely to fall within my projected range.
