The 2011 Chablis Grand Cru Les Preuses has a potent bouquet with petrol scents emerging with aeration, alongside orange rind and limestone, though it is less spicy than other Les Preuses that I have tasted. The palate is very well-balanced with a more Burgundian, almost Puligny Pucelles-like entry. There is wonderful tension and focus here with outstanding details on the finish. Drink now-2026.
