Fresh and vivid with raspberry, lime and honeysuckle on the nose. Medium-bodied with tight and polished tannins that are completely integrated. Polished and fine. Needs time to open and show itself. Try after 2028.

The 2019 Barolo La Serra is one of the best editions from this site, one of the vineyards Roberto Voerzio got his start with. It offers up a beguiling mix of dark cherry, plum, licorice, lavender and sage. The darker side of Nebbiolo comes alive in this striking, translucent Barolo from Roberto Voerzio. The tannins are firm and sweeping, but there is more than enough fruit to provide balance.
