The 2010 Barolo Riserva Bussia Gold Label offers loads of that trademark Parusso cherry-skin taste. It really is an unmistakable characteristic that even a novice taster could pick out in a blind tasting. However, this vintage is more streamlined than the other Parusso offerings and softened by age to produce extra elegance and finesse. Bright berry and cherry come into view, along with spice, tar and licorice at the back. This could be a good match for a precious pasta with shaved truffles.
This is exotic and loaded with violets and blue roses and also carries super fresh blackcurrant and blueberry notes. Smells super youthful. There’s white truffle, too. The palate has a very smooth, long and supple core of juicy tannins and a driving finish in impressively fresh, elegant and flavorful style. Great concentration.
