Vinous (87)

The 2022 Bourgogne Rouge has an attractive nose with blackberry and wild strawberry fruit - more cohesive than the Côteaux Bourguignon. The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannins, black fruit, and fine cohesion towards the finish that will be filled out by the addition of the new oak in the final blend.

Burghound (88)

Mild reduction overshadows what are clearly ripe fruit aromas. There is a round, even suave, mouthfeel to the delicious middleweight flavors that offer reasonably good depth and persistence on the firm and mildly rustic finale.

Jasper Morris (89)

Attractive mid crimson purple. A little more reserved on the nose yet with swelling fruit across the palate, a little fresh pepper at the finish which just enlivens the wine and adds a mineral touch. Drink from 2025-2028.
