The 2022 Chambolle-Musigny Village is lively and seamless, wafting from the glass with aromas of sweet cherries, berries, rose petals and blood orange, followed by a medium to full-bodied, supple and succulent palate that's beautifully balanced and harmonious.
A rich dense purple. Thick raspberry fruit on the nose, and an immediate impression of whole bunch vinification (50%) with the white pepper signal. Then a smoky chocolate note on the palate that sits well with the intensity of the cherry raspberry fruit, with an attractive crunch to finish.
A super-fresh and equally bright nose combines notes of plum, black cherry and subtle spice wisps. The rich, concentrated and seductive medium weight flavors exhibit unusually good power on the lingering, balanced and complex finale that is shaped by fine-grained tannins. This is an excellent Chambolle villages and worth your interest.
