The 2015 Chablis Grand Cru la Moutonne comes from the monopole belonging to Long-Depaquit that is populated by 46-year-old vines. It sees ten months in 75% stainless steel and 25% in oak barrels. It has a pleasant bouquet, with hints of white chocolate and orange pith stitched into the citrus fruit. The palate is well balanced, although it's clearly not as complex or as mineral driven as the 2014. There is a sense of focus here, even charm, although I find the finish just a tad predictable compared to the superior Les Clos from Long-Depaquit.
