Chateau Latour slightly damaged capsule 1984

|Klassifiziering||Premier Cru Classe|
|Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Bordeaux Blend|
Curiously, the 1984 tastes nearly as fine as the lightish 1985. Spicy, woodsy, mineral, herbal scents and ripe fruit swell in the glass. It has good length and grip, plus adequate tannin for 5-9 years of further cellaring.
Winespectator / James Suckling (84)
A slightly unripe wine, but still good. Amber-red color. Aromas of peat, iodine and tobacco. Medium-bodied, with tea, herb and tobacco flavors. Light finish
Rene Gabriel rates this wine 16/20 points.
