Tasted from the bottle, along with numerous grands crus from Germany, Fürst's 2018 Centgrafenberg Spätburgunder GG showed great. It's coolish, spicy and elegant but also concentrated and complex on the nose. In a noble way discreet but exciting in its tension, this is a concentrated, round and even smooth Pinot with generosity, sustainable grip and vitality.
