The 2015 Tinata represents a blend of 70% Syrah and 30% Grenache with fruit grown in the southern part of Coastal Tuscany near the beachside resort town of Capalbio. This Rhône-inspired Tuscan blend is aged (70%) in barrique for 16 months and the rest goes into egg-shaped cement tanks. Some 6,430 bottles were produced. This lovely wine offers rich texture and depth with medium to full-bodied layers of dark fruit. Black currant and summer cherry are followed by smoke, spice and chocolate. This warm vintage shows extra concentration and richness.

Bright purple color in the glass. The nose offers tons of soaked blue fruit, such as blueberries. Lavender perfume, bay leaves, vanilla and cloves, too. Medium to full body with lots of essence-like fruit and a ton of floral and herbal flavors, which carry right through to the long yet mineral finish.
