The 2013 Saint Joseph les Granits Blanc, which had just been recently bottled, showed brilliantly, and certainly doesn't appear to be a kink in the recent string of incredible vintages of this cuvee. Possessing an exotic, perfumed style, it gives up tons of white peach, caramelized citrus, brioche and orange marmalade, with more and more floral and exotic qualities with time in the glass. Full-bodied, ripe, textured and layered, with beautiful freshness, this is another blockbuster vintage of this cuvee not to miss.
A solid white, with a core of peach, melon, nectarine and Jonagold apple flavors, all laced with honeysuckle, heather and chamomile notes. Shows a long blanched almond edge through the finish, which is racy and pure.
