the 2021 Vin de France Rose Etoile is a blend of 80% Grenache and 20% Mourvèdre sourced from vines planted on the schist terroirs of Clos Mireille, the limestone soils of Château de Selle and sandstone parcels of Château Romassan, matured 25% in ceramic. Evoking aromas of oak, smoke, lemon, peach, red berries and iodine, it’s fleshy and balanced with a textural attack, bright acids and a mineral, rather oaky, licorice finish. Give it a little time to digest its élevage, and it will offer excellent drinking.

Very pale coral color with aromas of cherry stones, raspberries, rose petals and pink grapefruit. It’s elegant, delicate and fresh with a medium body. Focused, too, with a lengthy finish. Drink now.
