From the sixteen warehouses where the casks of The GlenAllachie rest and mature, Billy Walker selects a number of very special casks for the 21-year-old single malt every year. Driven by and renowned for his knowledge of cask management, Billy has crafted this whisky from three different Pedro Ximénez sherry puncheons.
Billy Walker is widely praised for his skill in making and composing whisky. When you taste this whisky, you will know why. The mocha notes, sweet raisins, ginger biscuits, surrounded by the distinctive taste of honey in The GlenAllachie's whiskey are again a delight for the senses.
Tasting Notes:
Nose: Dark grapes, raisins and dark chocolate with an orange filling. Hints of mocha, stewed fruit and syrup.
Taste: Sweets, heather honey and cocoa-dusted truffles and raisins, followed by strong notes of mocha and farm boys.
Finish: Full and warm finish with notes of ginger.
