Billy Walker, the owner of The GlenAllachie Distillery, leads a truly fascinating profession. Almost daily, he meticulously selects the most exceptional whisky casks and, in collaboration with his team, assesses their potential.

Periodically, a limited quantity of whisky bottles from Speyside becomes available for the Dutch market. This time, we're excited to introduce the GlenAllachie 12 Years Old Moscatel Finish.

This whisky is a part of the esteemed Wood Finish Series. Billy Walker has cultivated an extensive network of specialized producers from around the world, enabling him to source top-quality casks that enhance the "GlenAllachie spirit" in exquisite ways.

Moscatel Finish

This delightful and fruity whisky initially matures for over 8 years in premium American oak ex-bourbon barrels. To add an extra layer of complexity, the spirit is then transferred to carefully selected Moscatel wine casks. There, it continues to mature for an additional 42 months.

These Moscatel casks, originating from Portugal, impart floral aromas and contribute to a silky texture. With prominent notes of tart fruit and rich toffee, this bronze-hued malt whisky is a true delight for the palate.
