Jonquiripe corn

Nose
Roasted peanuts, brambles and plenty of vanilla custard. The smoke and peat is there, some rubber as well, but not dominant at all. Hidden almost. There's some candied lemon and overripe banana too, as well as fudge. Quite lovely.

Taste
Mild smoke and a touch of rubber, followed by milk chocolate, licorice, cloves and pepper. Some sal ammoniac too. Cigarette tobacco. Finally some tinned peaches.

Finish
Long, slightly medicinal and smoky.

Comments
I really like that this isn't too heavy on the smoke and peat. It's there, and it is obviously an Islay dram, but it's also mild and non-intrusive, giving way to other aromas and flavors.
