Color: light gold
Nose: first sniff; fresh with yellow fruit and sea shells. Then evolves into a more “salty”influences with roasted fish, oysters and sea water in the sun.
Taste: sweet vanilla with pineapple on the BBQ. Then the unmistakably Islay character takes over with pungent herbs mixed with sea salt and a light touch of tar and Lysol.
Finish: Spicy and peppery with light peat that continues to heat your palate for a long time. Islay as it should be (in our opinion)
