Ardnamurchan Paul Launois 2024:

The Ardnamurchan Distillery is one of the most beautiful distilleries in Scotland, and one of the best. They bottle very flavorful whiskies that are highly cherished by whisky enthusiasts. One of the special editions they release annually is the whisky aged in casks from the French Champagne producer Paul Launois. We have 220 bottles of this very special release available for the entire Benelux region.

The contents of 12 bourbon barrels were transferred into 19 barriques (225 liters each) from Domaine Paul Launois in Les Mesnil sur Oger. This has resulted in a very fresh and flavorful whisky.

Tasting Notes:

Nose: Fresh mandarins with freshly ironed white linen, lemon zest, mascarpone cream with thyme, and peach. Full-bodied yet fresh.
Palate: Lively pink grapefruit with a sprinkle of granulated sugar, white chocolate, and blossom honey. Also, the spicier notes of salted caramel and pink salt.
Finish: Sparkling, effervescent, and slightly drying. Leaves you smacking your lips and longing for another sip.
