Savanna Distillery proudly presents the Savanna 2007 10 Years Old 61.3% | Herr Japan Tribute Cask #218. This exceptional rum, aged for 10 years and with an ABV of 61.3%, exemplifies the intricate art of tropical distillation.

Founded in 1948, Savanna Distillery is celebrated for its innovative rum styles, utilizing both column and pot stills. Distilled in 2007, this expression highlights their expertise in column still distillation. Aged under Réunion’s warm, humid climate, this rum develops profound depth and intensity more quickly than in temperate zones.

Cask #218, selected for this edition, is one of only 761 bottles. Produced using the agricole method from freshly squeezed sugar cane juice, it offers a fresh, grassy, and herbaceous flavor profile, prized by connoisseurs.

The rum opens with vibrant tropical fruit notes like lychee and mango, evolving into vanilla, oak, and a hint of smoke, due to its decade-long maturation. Its long, spicy finish lingers on the palate.

The packaging pays homage to Japan, reflecting the bond between Savanna Distillery and its Japanese enthusiasts. This limited-edition release, sized at 50 cl, is perfect for collectors or as a distinguished gift.

This premium rum encapsulates the essence of its island home, with local sugar cane nurtured by volcanic soil and the tropical climate contributing to its distinctive profile. Enjoyed neat, with water, or in cocktails, the Savanna 2007 10 Years Old promises an unforgettable experience, representing Savanna Distillery’s commitment to quality and innovation and connecting cultures through fine spirits.
